Testimonials
Anita is a tremendous announcer! She announces for our women’s soccer team at Salt Lake Community College and significantly contributes to the professionalism of our matches. Anita announces different moments within the game and does it both timely and clearly. We really appreciate her attention to detail from naming the correct goal scorer and assister, as well as confirming pronunciations for all of our players. She also always finds the best moment to approach our staff before games, and is proactive in reaching out for special events like our Sophomore Appreciation Day. Anita is one of the best!
— Cassie Ulrich, Women’s Soccer Head Coach, Salt Lake Community College
I was involved in the process to hire Anita for women’s soccer P.A. announcing at the University of Utah in 2017. After hearing her demo, I knew she would be an excellent choice for us. Anita has always come well-prepared for our games and brings the right balance of professionalism and enthusiasm.
—Mike Lageschulte, Special Projects/Communications, University of Utah Athletics
I have worked with Anita for announcing in soccer and alpine skiing and in other capacities with baseball. I have always known her to be a passionate person who has her client’s best interest and their fans at heart. Before our alpine skiing meet, she reached out to schools to make sure that she had proper pronunciations for unusual international names, which unfortunately is not a standard practice that I have seen in this profession. She truly makes an effort to make sure that the crowd is informed and engaged and is also open to communication about ways that she can improve for the future.
—Brooke Frederickson, Associate Director of Communications, University of Utah Athletics
Anita was great to work with, especially on such short notice. Prior to the University of Utah Women’s Basketball game she was filling in for, she came to an earlier game to observe how our current P. A. announcer handled everything. Anita made sure to take notes on everything, from intros to how the regular announcer interacted with the fans. Anita came fully prepared on game day and understood how we run our games. She already had the basic knowledge of the game, so that part of being our announcer was no problem at all! I would definitely work with Anita again!
— Angelica Sena, Assistant Director of Marketing, University of Utah Athletics
While at Salt Lake Community College, I was impressed with Anita’s professionalism and overall work as a P. A. announcer. She is very organized and passionate about doing things the right way. She has a great voice quality and with baseball has a good feel for the game. She is very easy to work with and makes it easy for others to do their job around her. I would highly recommend Anita for any organization needing a P. A. announcer.
— Derek Waddoups, Head Baseball Coach, MSU Billings Yellow Jackets
Anita does a fantastic job of making the stands feel a part of the game. She connects the fans to the team with her inflections and passion for the game of baseball. She is dedicated and works hard to get to know her team, helping to make game day an even better experience.
— Tuckett Slade, Director of Baseball Operations, Brigham Young University
I have worked with Anita at Salt Lake Community College men’s and women’s soccer games and Westminster College (UT) women’s volleyball. She impressed me with her organization, professionalism and the desire to provide an energetic game atmosphere for the fans. She has a versatility across multiple sports and is a quick study of new sports.
—Eric Stephens, Director of Athletic Communications and Events, Westminster College (UT)
Anita was amazing when I played for the Salt Lake Community College baseball team. All the fans and players absolutely loved her. She was so personable and always willing to go the extra mile to make people around her happy and excited.
— Joe Barlow, Professional Baseball Player, Texas Rangers
Anita has been our Men’s and Women’s soccer P.A. Announcer for the last four years. She has been outstanding in her services. Besides being very professional, Anita’s quality of announcements and her pronunciation of international surnames and places is excellent. We appreciate everything she has done for us so far and look forward to continuing our working relationship in the future.
— Mark Davis, Men’s (and former Women’s) Soccer Head Coach, Salt Lake Community College
— Elton Jazexhiu, former Men’s and Women’s Soccer Head Assistant Coach, Salt Lake Community College, UEFA A License
Anita is a fantastic PA Announcer! She is extremely professional. She will reach out to the coaches prior to each game and introduce herself. She then inquires about how to properly pronounce the more challenging names. She is very responsive to requests made by the coaches and staff. For example, I asked if she could announce where the starters were from and Anita took the time to study that information and did a fantastic job of announcing it. She has a very strong and confident voice and is a true professional and expert in the sport of softball.
— Cyndee Bennett, Head Softball Coach, Salt Lake Community College
Anita has been a huge asset to Salt Lake Community College Softball. Her personality really comes through when announcing our games. She is fun, energetic & very professional. She has great knowledge of the game which allows her to be very specific & precise in her announcements. We love having her at our games. She always makes a significant impact.
— Tara Bendt, Assistant Softball Coach/Academic Advisor, Salt Lake Community College
It has been my pleasure to work game management with Anita Tsuchiya for over five years. I have worked with Anita in both baseball and basketball. In Anita’s role as PA game announcer, I have found her to do excellent work. Anita works with an exceptional level of professionalism, dedicated to providing precise information, clear diction and a strong understanding of the game she is announcing. Anita responds quickly to the unexpected with grace and clarity. She works well and is greatly appreciated by others on the game management staff. I would highly recommend Anita for PA announcing services.
— Eric Weber, Assistant Vice President, Emeritus, Salt Lake Community College
While coaching at the College of Southern Nevada the past 9 years, you cannot help to appreciate the professionalism that is displayed by Anita while she is announcing Salt Lake Community College baseball games. Anita does a fantastic job of coming down to the dugout way prior to the first pitch of the series to make sure that all name pronunciations will be correct. She always waits until it is convenient for the opposing teams coach to take a few minutes. Anita shows tremendous enthusiasm towards her beloved Bruins as we have been on the bad side of many bottom of the 9th inning walk off wins for SLCC. Anita has shown great knowledge of game situations, substitutions, etc. It has always and will always be a pleasure playing at SLCC as Anita provides a very hospitable atmosphere.
— Nick Garritano, Head Baseball Coach, College of Southern Nevada
